I've read many positive reviews of Urban Oasis spa here on Citysearch, so when Spa Week came up, I decided to take a chance on Urban oasis day spa. I've only been to a spa once before and therefore don't have much of a baseline for comparison. I also used this as an opportunity to shop around for my go-to day spa without spending a ton of money. I figured if a Spa Week client was treated well, a regular patron would be treated even better.
Vanny was my aesthetician and even though I'm not used to being rubbed by strangers, she didn't make me feel like a dork. She also immediately understood (without my having to tell her) that I didn't want to chat. The only time I felt uncomfortable was during the extraction part of my facial but in the end, it was worth it; for the first time in years, I'm blackhead-free! After my body scrub, I felt like I'd molted- the skin that was revealed after the scrub is so soft!
The areas I saw were very clean, and love that they offer new spa robes and flip-flops. They also offer me white wine and snacks.
Overall, I really enjoyed my treatments at Urban Oasis and am definitely planning to go back.

I was so impressed by my whole experience at what is now my favorite spa. I loved everything about it from my perfect manicure (I've never had one last so long), to the most relaxing pedicure with comfy leather chairs, best foot massage, and a facial with the most amazing hands ever! I can't wait to go back!

What a treat! The Urban Oasis Spa is not cheap but it is luxurious in every way. A truly relaxing spa with incredible service & one of the best facials a girl could dream of.

I got a brazilian waxing with Catherine recently. Phenomenal attention to details, impeccably clean. I also had a spa package as a gift some time ago. It was a half of the day very well spent.

Best spa in the area. It deserves a 5-Star rating. It's a true oasis from the city. I will definitely be back after I have the baby.

Check-in was professional and quick. Locker/shower room was very pleasant, spacious, and clean. I was there on a Friday afternoon, and I felt like I had the whole locker room to myself. It was very peaceful.

Now to the treatment itself. The only treatment I can review is the pre-natal massage, and it was pretty amazing. The first few minutes were spent fiddling around with their cushions...they don't use tables with a belly-hole in it (which is not recommended anyway by doctors)...they use these adjustable cushions made to prop up the torso with a divet in the middle for the pregnant belly. Since I'm pregnant, I couldn't get completely comfortable with the cushions, so we did a side-lying massage. The lady knew exactly how to position me on my side with towels and cushions... so she positioned my upper body so that there was no pressure on me. Perfect! After that it was an hour and 20 minutes of bliss. My massage therapist, Maziel, was stellar. What she did in 55 minutes (we talked through 5 minutes of my 60 minute session) was impressive - clearly she is an experience and talented professional. I like their warm, friendly, SMILING staff members, who can assist me, keep the locker room clean and are knowledgeable about the treatments.
